Summer Time!

Officially, summer does not start until June 21st. But this year I started early and put my pool out in my back yard. It is a very big pool, and it does the job of cooling me down after a hard day at school. Also, starting early this year, I went to a neighborhood cook out on memorial day weekend. That was fun. I had steak. All the kids had hot dogs,hamburgers. The grown ups drank beer and ate hamburgers and hot dogs as well as the kids. The kids drank root bear bottles pretending to drink beer like the adults. It was a lot of fun. I would also just like to say Happy Birthday to my Father, whose birthday was on Sunday.

Death of a Sibling by S. Animashaun

Many claim that they relate to death feelings
And continuous sensation of pain,
Different when it's one of your siblings,
The last view of my brother was insane.

My first role model, but not innocent
An invalid reason for him to die,
His young child left in this predicament
It is unpleasant to see this child cry;

Because his father is no longer here.
Sent to live in peace, so I don't worry
Our Guardian Angel, he's always near
but I shed tears when I tell the story.

I realized that I need help from a friend,
So that these worries can come to an end.

In my English class we had to right a sonnet and my teacher gave this sonnet that she wrote in college to us to use as a guide for our sonnet. i thought it was really good and asked her if I could post it. She obviously said yes, and I hope you enjoyed this serious, original, and touching poem.

Relay for Life

In June I will be running in the relay for life Cancer fundraiser. I will be running with my favorite teacher at my school. She is really nice, and we are forming a team together. She is my english teacher. She also wrote a really good sonnet that i will post tommorow. this is my first cancer run. And hopefully not the last. I can't wait and I am looking forward to it.

Hannah Montana!

Yesterday I saw The Hannah Montana Movie. It was better than I expected. It had funny moments, silly moments, and romantic moments. One of the silly moments is when Hannah tells about 1,000 people at one of her that she is really Miley Stewart. But they all still want both, so the huge crowd convinces her to put the wig back on, and they promised to keep her secret. I thought that was an okay way to end the movie, but just a little dissapointing.

Twilight: In the lion's den

Twilight is an amazing series. It's about a vampire who falls in love with a pale brunette teen from Arizona. The series talks about all their struggles in the vampire community. Will she change into one of them? Will she be accepted if she doesn't? Check out Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn to find out what happens in this epic story of a lion that falls in love with a lamb.
